How to apply for Halal Certification

  1. Application, which may be secured by regular mail, telephone, fax or e-mail.
  2. Submission of requirements to the officer of the IDCP.
  3. Laboratory analysis of the ingredients or raw materials, if necessary.
  4. Ocular inspection of the Manufacturing / Processing Plant
  5. lssuance of Fatwa by the IDCP Fatwa Committee ( Religious Ruling)
  6. lssuance of Halal Certification and Accreditation.

To be sure of the compliance of these requirements, Products must be certified, guaranteed and endorse by a credible Halal authority, which in the Philippines, IDCP is the organization to contact.

The whole HALAL certification process usually takes one to three months.
